"The World's Highest Quality Church Chairs... At Affordable Prices... From People You Can Trust!"

HELPFUL HINTS WHEN COMPARING WORSHIP SEATING

1) Line the samples up-backs toward the evaluators.

  • This is the view seen first when entering worship.
  • Check the backs carefully; is the appearance even, is the fit and finish well done, are fabric seams well sewn and even?
  • Are wood screws or steel "t"-nuts used to secure the back and seat? (Wood screws work loose and have 1/5 the holding power.)
  • Is quality commercial fabric or cheaper fabric used? Are fabric specifications provided or available? (If not, assume the worst.)

2) Push chairs forward and lay them on their front to inspect underside.

  • Is the seat bottom covered and attractive with the manufacturers Contact information visible? (If not, accountability problems!)
  • Check the welds-Are they even/smooth or will items catch?
  • Check the horizontal leg brace-Is there one and if so, is it sturdy and strongly welded one. (Be wary of thin rods poorly welded.)
  • Is paint certified electrostatic-powder-coating and applied evenly. (If not, MUCH more likely to chip and peel.)
  • Are the glides self-leveling or cheaper plugs?

3) Stand chairs upright.

  • Which chair is most attractive visually?
  • Do and initial comfort test looking for correct support.
  • Do NOT play musical chairs. Take your time. Your services are longer than 30 seconds.
  • Put you samples in the church and encourage your people to sit in them and give you feedback.
  • Have your pastor, secretary and others use the chairs at their desks. Get their feedback.

4) Compare/rate each sample by the following criteria on a 1-5 scale.
Double the value of the last criteria-Add and compare scores.

  • Comfort
  • Structural Quality
  • Visual Appearance
  • Price and Overall Value
  • Reputation, longevity, and multiple references of the seller.
